The product

What this is and who it is for.

What is Kape Tools?

Kape Tools is a free online workspace for Filipino freelancers, virtual assistants and small agencies. It holds three job boards, a job application tracker, a lead finder, a client list with hours and invoices, task boards, and around 40 everyday file tools that run in your own browser.

It is made in the Philippines by Kenneth Villar, working as BrewedOps. There is a fuller answer, including who it is not for, on the what-is page.

Who is Kape Tools for?

Filipino freelancers and virtual assistants looking for work, freelancers who already have clients and need to track hours and invoices, and GoHighLevel operators running a small agency.

It suits somebody doing all of that alone. One account is one person.

Who should not use Kape Tools?

Teams who need a shared workspace, anyone who needs real accounting or BIR filing, agencies running a sales pipeline at volume, and people working outside the Philippines.

Nothing here can be shared with a colleague, assigned to somebody or given limited access. If two people need to edit the same thing, this is the wrong tool.

Is Kape Tools only for Filipinos?

Anyone can sign up, and the browser-side tools work anywhere. The job boards, the government ID guides, the tax calculator and the payment methods are all Philippine-specific, so most of the reason to use it does not travel.

Is there a mobile app?

No. Kape Tools is a website and it works in a phone browser, but there is nothing to install from an app store and nothing works offline.

02

Getting in

Signing up, and what happened to the waitlist.

How do I sign up for Kape Tools?

Continue with Google on the sign-in page. That one button creates the account and signs you in, and it is open to anyone.

Signing up with an email address and a password is closed at the moment, so Google is the way in.

Is there a waitlist or an invite?

No. There is no waitlist and no invite code. The waitlist closed on August 19, 2026, because it stopped meaning anything once anyone could make an account in one click.

If you find a page or an old email mentioning a Kape Tools waitlist, it is out of date. Go straight to the sign-in page.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Nothing is stored, nothing is charged and nothing renews by itself. The free plan does not ask for a card at any point.

03

Pricing

What is free, what is not, and how paying works.

Is Kape Tools really free?

Yes. The free plan costs nothing, does not expire and is not a trial. It covers the three job boards, the application tracker, the lead finder, the client list, the task boards and every browser-side tool.

It is free because most of the product costs almost nothing to run: the boards are read from our own database, and the file tools run on your machine rather than ours.

How much does Kape Tools Pro cost?

Pro is ₱499 a month. It is the only paid plan.

Paying for a year costs ₱4,970, which works out cheaper than paying monthly. Longer terms are a lower price, not a longer commitment.

What does Pro add?

Pro covers the features that call a paid AI model every time you use them: the assistant with agent mode, the rewriter, the proposal writer, the cover letter composer and the document summarizer.

That is the whole difference. Nothing that runs in your own browser is behind it.

Is there a free trial?

No, and there is deliberately no trial clock. The free plan is not a demo that runs out, so there is nothing to start and nothing to expire.

Does Kape Tools renew automatically?

No. There is no card on file and no subscription that charges itself. A paid month simply ends, and you drop back to the free plan with your work intact.

Can I go back to the free plan?

Yes, and it happens by itself. When a paid period ends you keep your account, your leads, your boards, your clients and every browser-side tool. Only the AI features stop.

How do I pay for Kape Tools?

GCash, Maya or GoTyme. You send the payment, upload the receipt in the app, and an admin switches the account over.

There is no automated checkout yet, so paying is a short manual exchange rather than a card form.

Can I get a refund?

No. Kape Tools has a no-refund policy, including on prepaid three-month and one-year terms, which are not pro-rated. Money sent by mistake, such as a double payment, is returned.

04

Finding work

The job boards, the tracker and the lead finder.

Which job boards does Kape Tools include?

Three: OnlineJobs.ph, LinkedIn remote roles and JobStreet Philippines. They are collected on a schedule into one list you can filter, so opening the board never waits on those sites.

All three are on the free plan.

Does Kape Tools apply to jobs for me?

No. It finds and organises the listings and remembers what you applied to. Writing and sending the application is yours.

What is the Job Application Tracker?

A record of everything you have applied to: date, role, salary, company, status and notes, with a CSV export. It replaces the spreadsheet most freelancers keep by hand.

Ghosted is one of the statuses, because it is the most common outcome and it needs its own bucket.

Where do Lead Finder leads come from?

Google Maps business listings. You give it a place and a type of business, and it returns the public details of matching businesses.

How many leads can I find at once?

Thirty per search. The cap is enforced on the server, so it is the same on every plan.

05

Privacy and data

What leaves your machine and what does not.

Does Kape Tools upload my files?

No. The PDF tools, the file converter, the image compressor, the background remover, the upscaler, the screenshot reader and the audio transcriber all run inside your browser on your own machine. The file is not sent to a server and it is not stored.

That is also why they are free: they cost us nothing to run.

Which Kape Tools features use an external AI provider?

The paid text features send what you type to Anthropic, and the subtitle generator sends your audio to Groq. Everything else described as local really does run on your machine.

Every company that touches any of your data is named on the trust page.

Can Kape Tools staff read my data?

The operator can read the database, which is true of any self-hosted product and worth saying plainly rather than implying otherwise. What that means in practice, and what is encrypted, is set out on the trust page.

Is the global chat private?

No. Global chat is one shared room and every signed-in member can read it. Treat it as public.

Can I delete my Kape Tools account?

Yes, from the app, and it takes your data with it. You confirm with your password and by typing your email address.

06

The company

Who builds this.

Who builds Kape Tools?

Kenneth Villar, a Certified GoHighLevel Admin based in the Philippines, working as BrewedOps. It is not a company, a funded startup or a team.

What happened to BrewedOps?

Kape Tools is what BrewedOps became. The tools, the job board and the community moved here, which is why the reviews on the site are from BrewedOps members and are dated earlier than this workspace.

Is Kape Tools the same as other products with a similar name?

No. Kape Tools is a workspace for Filipino freelancers, at kape.tools, made by BrewedOps in the Philippines. Other unrelated products share part of the name, including in security and digital forensics, and none of them are connected to this one.

Kape is the Filipino word for coffee, which is where the name comes from.
